WE ALL HAVE TO ADMIT, PHOTOS DON’T LIE

Recently, I’ve been writing about the realization of getting older. This coming week, I have meetings with social security and Medicare to prepare for senior benefits.

What I’ve come to realize is that I no longer care how I look in photographs, as long as I look good in x-rays and MRI’s. I’m sure there are many of you who got that joke, but I was a little serious.

Be honest, how many of you see photos of yourself and it’s a reminder that getting older is here? Listen, seeing ourselves aging is a reward. Yes, we’ve made it. We no longer have to think about fitting in with the crowd because no body pays attention to us.

At Ageless Muscle, most of our clients are retired. How amazing is that? They are no longer working, most of their bills are paid, and they’re reaping the benefits of old age.

Think about it, once you reach retirement from all the years of dedicated work, you can travel the world, experience opportunities you dreamed about, and don’t care that pictures reflect an aging person. Believe me, everyone is jealous and wish they were in your position.

Now, we can’t stop Father Time, so what are you going to do about it? You’ve lived life this long, so don’t give up now. I’ve come to accept that senior age is upon me. Youth is in the past, but the present is what I’m experiencing now.

There’s no curling up in the fetal position and feeling sorry for ourselves. If that is you, stop it- right now. Of course, we are all getting older, so enjoy it to the end. We don’t know when God is ready for us to join Him, so be the inspiration for all those around you. That is your legacy.

One of the fun parts of getting older is that you don’t have to take life so seriously. We’ve made it while the young-ins are trying to figure it out.

Just be silly and dance like no body’s watching. Why not?
